If the original post is deleted, is my copy still there?
Yes. BirdSafe archives content the moment you bookmark it, into local storage you control. Deletions, suspensions and locks on X never touch your copy — and we flag which originals have died.
What happens when I switch computers?
Pro users restore in one click from an end-to-end encrypted cloud backup. Free users can migrate anytime with a manual export file. You can even run a recovery drill first to verify integrity.
Which platforms are supported?
X (Twitter) on the web, via our Chrome extension — compatible with Chrome, Edge, Arc and other Chromium-based browsers.
If I uninstall the extension, is my data gone?
The local archive lives in the browser profile and is removed along with the extension. Keep a cloud backup or manual export first — the extension will remind you.
Does BirdSafe upload my data?
Not by default. Archiving, search and semantic indexing all run locally. Cloud sync is opt-in and end-to-end encrypted — our servers only hold ciphertext we can't read.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
